On this episode of Campground of the Week, we have a review of Timberlane Campground which is the closest campground to Philadelphia. Located in Clarksboro, New Jersey, this is what we like to call a base camp: a great place to park your rig or pitch your tent when exploring an urban destination.

Timberlane is a private, family-owned campground and offers a surprising amount of natural beauty considering its proximity to the City of Brotherly Love. The amenities are not fancy, and some things could use updating, but they are sufficient for relaxing after a long day of enjoying the food and historical sites that Philadelphia has in spades.
