Our Vandy Vagabonds are back, and on this episode Alexandra and Jeremy take us to the Lake Norman Motor Coach Resort in North Carolina which, despite its name, is actually for RVs of all types!
This campground is located on the banks of Lake Norman, the largest man-made body of fresh water in North Carolina. This is truly a lake front getaway as access to fishing, boating, and water skiing is just steps from your RV door.
On this episode of Campground of the Week, our Midwest Correspondent Kerri Cox is going to convince you to put Arkansas on your RV trip bucket list. Kerri gives a great review of the Bella Vista Village RV Park, a unique and exclusive campground located in a planned community. You need to be a member of the community or a Good Sam Club member to reserve a site at this location.
Kerri describes why this campground is the perfect base camp for exploring nearby Bentonville, Arkansas, the city where Sam Walton opened his first store. Bentonville has experienced a boom of growth over the past few years and its restaurants, breweries, and boutiques make this a fantastic downtown to visit.
You may have seen it on TV, but this week Keith and Tia Sims are taking us behind the scenes at Lazydays RV Resort located about 15 miles east of Tampa, Florida.
Lazydays in Florida is the closest thing you can get to an RV village, hosting a huge dealership, service center, and camping supply store in addition to the campground. You will want to make reservations far in advance if you will be visiting during the Florida RV Supershow that takes place nearby in January.
In addition to the pool, tennis courts, and playground, Keith and Tia enjoyed the meal vouchers that are provided to all campers. You will have to listen to hear them share the very best campsite in the entire campground…

On this Campground of the Week episode, Matthew and Melissa Kellas are back on the show with a wonderful camping option in the great state of Michigan.
The Covert/South Haven KOA is located in the southwest corner of Michigan and is just a few miles from the beautiful shores of Lake Michigan. The campground features an array of amenities, but Melissa and Matthew particularly loved the wide variety of recreational activities available including a Gaga Ball pit and trampoline basketball court. Another unique highlight? The u-pick blueberry field that greets visitors as they pull into the campground.

On Campground of the Week episode #11, our California correspondent Kate Dunbar reviews her favorite local campground the Ventura Ranch KOA. This 76-acre campground is located next to an orange orchard and a creek, offering a phenomenal natural experience just 60 miles outside of Los Angeles.
The variety of accommodations at this KOA is impressive, including tent sites, pull-thrus, teepees, cabins, lodges, and executive suites. Kate likes to visit during the less crowded times–during the week and in the shoulder fall and spring season. She notes that the summer and weekends are more crowded, but they are also full of fun activities for the family.
Scheduled events like the Bigfoot Adventure Walk and on-site activities like the zip lining are popular at the Ventura Ranch KOA. There is also a climbing wall, race car pedal bikes, a jump pillow, and movies under the stars.
The region is full of attractions that will keep you busy during your whole stay. In the second half of the show, Kate recommends her favorite area hikes, beaches, and NPS sites.
