Enchanted Trails RV Park & Trading Post is a privately-owned campground located just minutes off of Historic Route 66 in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Our correspondent Kate Dunbar from KatesCuriousKitchen.com stayed here on her epic solo adventure traveling the Mother Road. To hear Kate’s complete review of Enchanted Trails, listen to Campground of the Week episode #81, and to hear more about her entire Route 66 journey, check out RVFTA episode #140: Kate Gets Her Kicks on Route 66.

The Campground

Enchanted Trails RV Park & Trading Post is a large campground with 135 sites, 127 of which are pull thrus. There are a variety of site options including 20/30/50 amp, water, and sewer. The prices are incredibly reasonably at $30-$37 per night, and the campground offers Good Sam, AAA, and Passport America membership discounts.

One of the particularly unique offerings at Enchanted Trails is the vintage trailer rental option. For $56-$86 per night you can stay in one of the following vintage treasures:

  • 74′ Silver Streak
  • 59′ Spartan
  • 69′ Airstream
  • 63′ Winnebago
  • 56′ Yellowstone
  • 56′ Teardrop

Enchanted Trails offers plenty of amenities to keep you comfortable during your stay:

  • Pool and Spa
  • Game Room
  • Laundry Facilities
  • Updated showers and restrooms
  • Onsite Propane

Kate particularly enjoyed the campsite Trading Post where visitors will find Native American crafts, southwest foods, vintage trailer kitsch, and Route 66 memorabilia.
