On this podcast episode of Campground of the Week, we (Stephanie and Jeremy of RV Family Travel Atlas) review the Myrtle Beach KOA, one of our favorite campgrounds in one of our favorite RV destinations.

There are many types of campgrounds in Myrtle Beach, from the beachfront and bustling Ocean Lakes to the quiet and sleepy state parks. The Myrtle Beach KOA offers a happy medium since it is located in the heart of the action on the Grand Strand and just a few blocks from the beach. At this KOA you get close proximity to all the city attractions, plus a wooded and quiet campground environment.

You also get all the amenities of a KOA that seems to be moving toward Resort branding in the near future. We love the pools and the spray ground, the playgrounds and the bounce pillow. We also love the weekly activities and friendly campground staff.

On this episode, we discuss some of our insider tips…plus our one gripe, since we all know that nobody’s perfect.

This is a paired podcast episode with the RV Family Travel Atlas episode #115 Greetings from Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. On that episode you will hear all of our recommendations for activities and food in the Myrtle Beach area. Planning a future trip? We have you covered!

Thanks to our sponsors for supporting weekly content for all our camping and RVing fools!
